Hey guys, i searched the internet for a fix, and apparently this isnt windows 7 related, it happens in vista 64bit aswell. So far ive not found a fix and its really ****ing me off. The game basically wont start, when i open the game the screen is black for 10 seconds and then crashes. Ive tried running as admin, running it in 32 bit, running it in vista compatibility, turning vsync off in the nvidia control panel and all the other things people suggested. But why look elsewhere when i am a member of a forum with some of the greatest minds on the internet! Crack crysis 2 64 bits windows 7. Crysis 2 Windows 7 64 Bit Crack Download link 1. So any help would be fantastico! So, you're wondering why you can't run a 64-bit program that's been installed into Program Files (x86). Maybe it's because you're running a 64-bit program in a 32-bit emulator? Now there's a few of you saying you're using the executable out of bin32, which would work(and does) flawlessly. And for the person that said that it's a 'hardware' issue, really do some research next time. Everyone is having a problem running Crysis in 64bit on Vista and Seven, due to it installing in the WOW64 emulated program files folder. While some software runs this way, it knows how to ELEVATE itself, like HL2. I am currently working on a way to fix this, but I doubt it's fixable. I've already tried installing the game to Program Files which isn't WOW'd, and that didn't work. I don't have 8GB of memory to not use it on this game. I provide you here with the 32Bit & 64Bit Crysis 1.2.1 DVD exe files for the Steam version. I ripped them myself from my DVD version after updating it to 1.2.1. There isnt much sense to use the 32Bit DVD files since Steam includes them, without copy protection though. I decided to put them into this download so people also have the default 32Bin DVD files, no matter if they are usefull or not. Some may want to use different exes or play around with them. This guide may also fix starting problems for some users. Users who cant start the game or get blackscreen when trying to launch Crysis. Usually it gets fixed by using the 64Bit files and replacing them as described. The 32Bit exe seems to have problems with certain Windows systems and latest processors like the AMD FX series. The 32Bit exe simply wont run and there is no known fix for this except using the 64Bit exe files which are not included in the Steam version. You will have to crack or use a Mini Image to run the game then since the original 64Bin DVD files need a DVD by default! To install: Download the files and copy whether the 32Bin or 64Bin folder to C: Program Files (x86) Steam SteamApps common Crysis Delete/rename the default Steam 32Bin folder or save it before doing so. If you decide to use the 64Bit files, which is probably the reason why people download this, make sure to rename the folder to 32Bin after moving it into the Steam Crysis game folder. Because if you dont, Steam wont find the exe. It always starts the exe from the 32Bin folder. Doesnt matter whether its the 64Bit or 32Bit exe. The download also includes cracked exes for both bin folders. They are seperated though, by default the Bin folders are 100% original DVD files and uncracked and need a DVD to run. There is also a mini image now! I updated and added it to the files. I recommend using the mini image from now on. If you use the crack: Override the DVD exes with the exes from the Crack exe folder. Make sure to use compability mode Vista SP2 on Crysis.exe to run the game in 64Bit! Without it, it WONT work since the crack was designed for Windows Vista, dont ask me why. 32Bit doesnt need this. Try to avoid using the XP compability mode because this forces the game to run in DirectX 9, also fixes the problem though. If you use the mini image: I recommend using the mini image since its usually more stable and dont need any compability Vista mode for the exe! You will need to install Daemon Tools to be able to mount the image correctly into a virtual DVD drive! Just install the tool, reboot and mount the mini image into a Daemon Tools SCSI drive! After this you should be able to start Crysis 64Bit without getting the DVD check error anymore! Also works for 32Bit. You will find the Daemon Tools website by easily using google. Use the Daemon Tools Lite Free version! All other cost and need licenses. The Lite version is more than enough and free! UPDATE 1: As many people know, Windows 10 is supposed to no longer support Securom. This is the copy protection that Crysis uses. Usually most people seem to think that this means that there is simply no way anymore to run such games without cracks. This seems to be WRONG. I can actually run the game now WITHOUT using any cracks or mini images. Its like Windows 10 simply ignores or skips the Securom check that should launch when running a game with this protection. I repeat, I can run Crysis with the 64Bit DVD exe files WITHOUT any crack or mini image.
